The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 560 in 1970 to 18,612 in 2010. That was an increase of 3232.6 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 0.2 percent to 5.1 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 52.9 percent.

The first chart below shows the three population change factors for three periods adjusted for annual average amounts. The factor contributing the most population shifted from NDM in the first period to B-D in the second period and to NIM in the most recent period.
The second chart shows the same data but with an adjustment to reflect births to immigrants shifted to NIM. In it, NIM replaced B-D as the source of the most added population in the second period and the sole factor adding population in the most recent period.
