The Goldsboro Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) population 1/ increased from 85,408 in 1970 to 122,623 in 2010. That was an increase of 43.6 percent.
The foreign-born (FB) population increased from 463 in 1970 to 7,966 in 2010. That was an increase of 1620.5 percent. The foreign-born share changed from 0.5 percent to 6.5 percent.
The share of the overall population that was native-born (NB) increased by 35.0 percent.
